This all day event is co-sponsored by the Rusk County Poetry Society and the Rose Garden Poetry Society. It is held on a Saturday in October and features the announcement of the winners of dozens of contest categories. Guests enjoy lunch, fellowship and door prizes. Contests are open to poets who live in East Texas. Poetry categories are announced in the spring and poetry submissions are due September 1.
