EVELYN APPELBEE - Widely published, Evelyn Appelbee has won dozens of local, state and national prizes for her work. Her books include: Let the Rocks Keep Silent (A Nortex Press Book Publication Award winner) , A Way of Going, A Path to the Source, Letters from Two Women, Land Where My Fathers Died and A Vineyard of Red Wine. Evelyn is a thirty year member of RCPS and has served as its secretary for much of that time. She is a councilor for the Poetry Society Texas, has won the Poetry Society of Texas Hilton Ross Greer Service Award and been nominated for Texas Poet Laureate. A member of PST since 1971, that group has honored her with a lifetime memebership. Evelyn is a frequent judge and critic for poetry groups across the country. She lives east of Henderson, Texas.

BERNADETTE (BERNIE) BRUSTER - A poet, certified poetry therapist, professor and speaker. Her poems have appeared in local and state poetry society yearbooks. Bernie is a member of the Rusk County Poetry Society and a councilor and past board member of the Poetry Society of Texas. She is currently working on her PhD in literature. ANNE MCCRADY - A gifted poet, storyteller and inspirational speaker, Anne's poetry and prose has been published in numerous literary journals, periodicals and anthologies. Her first collection, Along Greathouse Road, won the 2003 Edwin M. Eaking Manuscript Publication Prize, and her chapbook, Under a Blameless Moon, won the Pudding House Prize. Anne offers workshops, readings, judging and critiqueing. She is a councilor of the Poetry Society of Texas, a member of the East Texas Writers Guild and President of the Rusk County Poetry Society. ANDY VINSON - Andy Vinson is Senior Vice President at Texas Bank in Henderson. Vinson has worked in the financial services sector for 33 years, after earning a BBA degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Active in the Henderson Area Chamber of Commerce he is a member of the board of directors and immediate past president. He has also been chairman of the Chamber’s Leadership Henderson program since 2006. He received the Chamber’s John R. Alford Young Man of the Year Award in 1984. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Henderson where he is a past president and an Assistant Governor of Rotary District 5830. Vinson and his wife Ruthie have six children. Church choir, gardening, ranching and poetry are hobbies he enjoys in his spare time.
